JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assisting Quality Manager in performing daily activities like incoming inspection, onsite inspection and integration of aerospace vehicle.

Responsible for performing in-house and onsite metrological inspection of aerospace parts like cylindrical enclosures, section rings, control and stabilizer wings, control surface actuators, cable conduits & linkage components.

Responsible for Preparing Quality Assurance plan. Inspection plan, Assembly checklist and standard operating procedures.

Verification of 8D report / CAPA submitted by vendor and ensures that all containment and corrective actions are implemented.

Responsible for witnessing destructive testing such as tensile test, impact test & hardness test.

Responsible for performing non-destructive testing (DP, MPT, UT & RT) of forgings, machined components, welded components, review and approve the report submitted by vendor.

To conduct supplier auditing and assessments for new suppliers and evaluate the performance of old suppliers.

Carry out WPS, PQR at vendor and approve the same.

Responsible for witnessing WPS, PQR,validating heat treatment reports, reviewing heat Treatment cycle and surface plating effectiveness tests for new products

Responsible for witnessing critical tests like proof pressure, burst, Hydraulic strength, Pneumatic Leak tests.

Participating in environmental tests like vibration, shock and bump and climatic control test.

Responsible for performing functional check on individual assemblies like opening and closing of aerospace vehicle wings, propellant motor firing, pyrobolts firing, electro-mechanical actuator testing.

Providing quality assurance during the final integrating of aerospace vehicle by performing stage wise inspection and as per control plan and assembly plan.

Work with Vendors to solve quality related problems, maintaining calibration records for metrological instruments & Maintenance of all relevant documentation and inspection reports
