Computational Investigation of Factors Affecting the Efficiency of Organic Solar Cells

Designed simulation models on SCAPS-1D software to test the energy efficiency of heterojunction organic solar cells. The simulations involved working with different materials for ETL(electron transport layer) and HTL(Hole transport layer) and running simulations through multiple combinations of those models to determine one with an increased energy efficiency. Currently, the best efficiency achieved in lab is at 20%.

Logical Prototype of a Vending Machine

Built a simple logical prototype of a vending machine, that served a limited set of inputs, with ICs and LEDs on a breadboard. Boost Converter (DC-to-DC)

Built a Boost Converter that successfully achieved 70V DC from 6V DC. Transfer Function for a ball and beam system

Calculated the transfer function for a beam and ball model by analysing its moving and constant parameters. The model was controlled using a PID controller via MATLAB and the output of the system for various inputs was calculated using that transfer function.
