Design and fabrication of Walking chair:

One of the basic problems of user on manual wheelchair is overcoming architectural barriers (kerbs, stairs etc.) on its way. In our project a motor operated stair climbing wheelchair concept which can overcome the architectural barriers to a considerable extent has been developed. This project involves the design of an ergonomically designed wheel chair for multipurpose use. Stairclimbing functionality is embedded in the design through its structure and mechanism. Major part of the project focuses on the proposed design concept and concludes by discussing upon the physical working model developed for the proposed design solution. Keywords: Architectural barriers, motor operated, stair climbing Design and fabrication of sheet metal rolling machine: Hence, aim of our project to develop and design a portable sheet bending machine which is useful to bend a sheet into cylinder shape. It reduces human effort and also requires less skill to operate this machine. This machine works on simple kinematic system instead of complicated design. This machine can bend up-to 4-5mm thickness of sheet. Due to its portability it can be used by small workshop or fabrication shop. It is widely used in various industrial operations such as bending a sheet in required shape & size. Keywords:-spur gear, capacity, bending load, metal rolling. Design and fabrication of fifth wheel parking mechanism: In earlier methods of parking, the time taken is 2 minutes, the driver needs to be more alert while parking in order to avoid hitting of the car during the reverse motion. Therefore, to avoid these inconveniences, a concept of fifth wheel parking is made, where the total time will be 50 to 60 seconds.This parking can be done using an additional wheel fifth wheel. A screw is used to control fifth wheel to land and lift. DC motor enables the forward and reverse motion for the screw. It also helps to know malfunctions during landing or lifting of the wheel. This concept is mainly used for fourwheeler vehicles. This setup makes the vehicle to turn parallel in a significant angle with reference to the front axle within a short period.
