Caterpillar is an international company that expertise in Heavy equipment Engines Financial in Thiruvallu r.
I was given a chance to visit and learn the manufacturing and assembly of Heavy truck suck as CAT 777,735, Excavators and land movers.
This also has Asia's second largest logistics department of the company. I was incharge of managing and analyzing inbound and outbound shipment, inventory study. additionally I also gained inculcating knowledge on Logistics and supply chain, management and Six sigma process used in CAT. I was bestowed upon a important project to calculate and minimize the carbon consumption in the particular infrastructure. Where I studied and formulated a method to observe CO emissions and corresponding trees cut down to that amount of green house gas emitted. an Excel sheet was designed. This is still followed in the industry efficiently

I was fortunate enough to do an intern ship in "NICOLA EDUCATIOAL AND RESEARCH INSTITUTE "This is a institute which provides a broad internship on IC engines, their working, assembly and dismantling. this includes 2-Stroke,4-stroke single cylinder and 4-stroke multi cylinder engines. theoretical classes on timing chains, camshaft placement and assembly. Individual was given a particular engine to dismantle and assemble, while also explaining the components.
Note; Internship period was longer than mentioned in certificate,due to some travel restriction back then VOCATIONAL TRAINING

Placed as an intern in "Indian Oil Corporation Limited(IOCL)" India's largest government oil refinery, I was able to gain immense knowledge in petrochemical,centrifugal pumps,rotary pumps, gear pump, plunger pump, etc.
learn lot of practical ideas in machines and maintenance department. Refining of oil, gas turbines and polymerization,pipe structure and analysis. variety of fuels and different quality of fuels was learnt.
Vocational training was given to handle machines and maintain various mechanical devices. Extensive hands on training with industry standard equipments and machines to analyze a problem and correct it. pumps were dismantled and study was done .
