EDUCATION

Bachelor of Engineering, Electrical Engineering September 2016 – May 2021

Ryerson University, Toronto, Ontario

SKILLS

Software: MATLAB, Simulink, MS Office Suite, SAP

Operating Systems: Windows 10, Linux, MacOS

Programming: Java, C, VHDL/Verilog HDL, Python

Technical: NetX

INTERNSHIP EXPERIENCE

Associate Network Project Administration Intern April 2019 – September 2019

Bell Canada, Ontario, Canada

Created networks/activities using SAP that dealt with large scale projects, as well as transitioning those projects to their next phases and closing them.

Gathered information relating to infrastructure using a GIS-based application NetX (optical fibre cables, duct banks, poles, etc.) to plan project activities.

Coordinated effective communication between Contractors, Vendors, Municipal Governments of Canada (MOC), project managers/coordinators, engineers and other stakeholders which was critical in progressing networks/activities for the timely completion of the projects.

oCoordinated with Metrolinx and TTC for relocation of Bell’s infrastructure.

Was part of the Structures department focusing on addition and relocation of infrastructure mainly involving underground elements such as duct banks and cable chambers/manholes.

Dealt with the addition and relocation of infrastructure mainly involving underground elements such as duct banks and cable chambers/manholes.

Effectively dealt with mediating the communication between Design Engineers and Project Managers during a design error/correction process to ensure that projects were to be completed within the scope, budget, and time constraints.

Tracked Project’s progress and prepared PSRs (Project Status Reports) for the Project Stakeholders.

ACADEMIC PROJECTS

Capstone Design Project: Internet of Things for Smart Building Management September 2010 – April 2020

This project aims to minimize energy consumption in homes with minimum to no interaction through Internet of Things (IoT) devices and intelligent decision making.

A Raspberry Pi 4 IoT board was used in sensing, data acquisition, and networking. Hereafter, a Google Cloud Platform was utilized to communicate data read in from the sensors which were then subject to intelligent decision making, specifically an unsupervised machine learning algorithm on Python.

Communication and networking allowed a user to view and manipulate data through an app designed on Android Studio 3, as well as automatic machine learning. The changes were reflected in real-life through a motor to control vents.

This was verified on a real-life implementation in two different testing rooms.

IBM Technical Consulting Case Competition January 2020

Conducted a thorough analysis on an up-and-coming business model aiming to achieve a key role in the driverless public transportation industry.

Presented a case with additional criteria for a panel of judges.

ADDITIONAL WORK EXPERIENCE

Ride Operator October 2017 - October 2018

Canada’s Wonderland, Vaughan, Ontario

Operated heavy machinery (roller coasters) using control panel as per operator’s manual and guidelines.

Performed Communication using specific signals with workers in a timely manner to maximizing safety of riders, efficiency of the rides while meeting Government’s Safety Regulations and Standards.

Developed Customer Care skills and attitude through daily interactions with customers.

Enhanced my teamwork and communication skills while working with co-workers and dealing with customers.

Time management and organizational skills were further developed through computing hourly capacity statistics and managing rotations for positions between crew members.
