SUMMARY

Fourteen years of experience in the Oil & Gas business and petrochemicals industry with a Master degree in Business Administration and Economics (Project thesis: Renewable Energy Economics in Oman, -received Distinction-, and a degree in Engineering (Project: Use of DSP Low pass filters in noise reduction applications- received 1st class-) from the UK. I started my career with Petroleum Development Oman and now work as a team lead in Oil and Gas Operations and Maintenance.

My main area of expertise includes working for multi-billion projects during initial design and FEED stages throughout to detailed engineering and commissioning. Equipped with the master degree and Six Sigma & Lean training, my interests are now focused towards leveraging the industry developments and technological advancements in respect to sustainability, use of renewable energy and circular economy to find solutions to our long- term obstacles and complex problems.

I am versed with Change Management, Corporate Governance and Strategic Planning through structured training and diverse experience. • Operations Field Team Lead - Aug-2018 - Present

ARA Petroleum Company LLC

Challenges & Deliverables: managing the B44 field teams safely and effectively, including the O&M activities of an outsourced team for the plant. Facilitating projects activities and taking lead in commissioning new wells and coordinating wells intervention activities. Overseeing the export activities in two custody transfer export stations. Addressing daily issues and putting forward plans to improve and optimize the systems. Getting people across disciplines to collaborate with the field staff in resolving issues and bring in new ideas to maintain/ maximise production.

• Automation and Inst. Sr. Eng. (Project Lead)

Oman Purified Isophthalic Acid Company LLC (Oman Oil) Challenges & Deliverables: the project lead for the E&I and Automation systems. Principal involvement in the EIA, ICV and other studies required at this project stage. Working with the project team and FEED/ Licensors to deliver the final BEDP through countless meetings, modifications, discussions on PFDs, P&IDs and HAZOP Review meetings in Oman and abroad (UK, Spain, Belgium, India).

• Lead Automation Engineer

Sohar Aluminium Company LLC

Challenges & Deliverables: worked throughout the project phase with PMC/ EPC and systems vendors to ensure project deliverables are as per the project specification. Involved in electrical energization, mechanical completion, commissioning, pre-start-up and start-up activities. Then moved to Operation and maintenance working on troubleshooting and fixing problems and modifying systems to work reliably and efficiently. In addition to some debottlenecking and revamping projects, have also completed many lean and six sigma projects saving hundreds of thousands in recoverable cost and improving safety systems.
