Spring 2021 at Joliet West High School: Taught 3 sections of a United States History class from January-April. During this time I created daily standard based lesson plans, activities, and assessments for remote learning, utilizing Zoom and Google Classroom

• University High School (Spring 2020)

o Led 2 induction sets, created 3 google classroom assignments, created primary source analysis o Created a 3 day lesson around gerrymandering and redistricting in a U.S. Government class

• Normal Community/Normal West High School (Fall 2019) o Observed various social studies and history classes throughout the semester at both schools o Participated in an interview simulation as an interviewer for freshman business class Background Information

Quality education should be naturally accessible to every student in the country. Regardless of race, gender, or socioeconomic status, each student deserves a quality education in an environment which is safe and nurturing for their personal and academic growth. Classrooms can be a place where students can be encouraged to grow as learners and as people. I will provide a classroom atmosphere which is conducive to continuous learning, as well as engage in progressive conversations with students of all backgrounds.
