Research work (M.S)
(2017-2021), India
The main aim of the work is the numerical study of flow in the S-duct and the upstream compressor stage which is used in small size turbofan engine.
Flow with different length of the duct and local modification in duct’s wall is studied
The effect of different axial gap between the compressor’s blade on its performance is evaluated
Conference paper published in ASME FEDSM 2020 titled “Length reduction of a compressor multi- spool transition annular S-duct”.

Work Experience
Mecon Limited (July, 2012-June, 2016), India
Heating up shift incharge of the Coke oven battery number 6 in Rourkela steel plant. The role was to take necessary action for maintaining the proper combustion and smooth running of the oven
Carried out the inspection of bricks for the use in Coke oven battery.
Worked as a mechanical design engineer and involved in the preparation of bill of materials, assembly and fabrications drawings along with the technical specifications for the components. IIT Madras (2020-2021)
Project officer in the project funded by DRDO. The role is to design to experimental setup and perform the experiment on the S-duct in NCCRD facility of IIT Madras. Projects (course and B-Tech)
Flow over a square cylinder solved using C++ code (Computational heat and fluid flow).
Temperature measurement of different components in CPU using thermocouple (Measurement in Thermal Engg.).
In the experiment performed, designed and fabricated the Savonius wind rotor and the power coefficient of the rotor found to increased by 38% with the addition of end plates (Performance characteristics of the Savonius rotor, B.Tech project)
Main Courses (M.S)
Fluid flow, Numerical methods in thermal Engg., Measurement in thermal Engg., Introduction to turbulence, Computational heat and fluid flow and Vorticity Dynamics Training(B-tech)
Training in the assembly shop of Backhoe Loader and mainly learned the hydraulics of loader (Escorts Construction Equipment Limited).
