Reporting Software Administrator/ Drilling Fluids Engineer / Administrative assistant
●Reporting Software Administrator/Administrative Assistant
Deployed and supported Compudrill an engineering reporting software to streamline the reporting process.
Conduct reporting software training ranging from one-on-one instruction to classroom settings for audiences of up to 20 engineers.
Provide 24 hr. technical assistance with software and general PC for field engineers. Memorized the reporting processes and solutions to problems to enable prompt resolution of most calls without need to use a computer.
Assist in researching and analyzing data to prepare reports for management to support decision making.
Inspect database files in order to troubleshoot anomalies and errors.
Ensure database files from each project are submitted or uploaded by engineers upon completion of projects.

Maintain drilling fluid at job sites, as per customer or NOV parameters.
Maintain product inventory needed to build & maintain drilling fluids.
Schedule trucks hauling materials to/from project locations.
Produce documentation for each shipment and maintain an organized file with all records of deliveries, returns, daily mud reports and safety paperwork.
Coordinate logistics with other decision makers on site to avoid possible interference with other activities going on.
Routine testing and analysis of drilling fluids using standardized procedures for measuring; Fluid Density, alkalinity, hardness, salinity, solids analysis, filtration characteristics under high temperature & high pressure (HTHP), Flow characteristics such as viscosity, yield point and gel strengths (rheology measurements).
Formulate a game plan for rig crew on how to utilize inventory to achieve desired maintenance or manipulation of fluid properties.
Supervise rig crew and monitor operations throughout each shift to ensure game plan is proceeding as expected or make necessary adjustments to improvise around deviations in operational activities that may arise.
Ensure safety protocols are being utilized and point out any potential safety issues or possible safety enhancements and report observations to health & safety personnel.
Participate in extensive industrial safety courses (Safeland & SafeGulf).
