JOB PROFILE:
Operation and Maintenance works of 132/11kV Primary Substation and associated 11kV /415V Out Door/ Indoor Substation at Salalah Airport.
Roles and Responsibilities :
Competent Electrical Person (CEP ) in Substation Operation and Maintenance.
Operations, Controlling and Maintenance of 132/11kV Primary Substation and 11kV/415V Outdoor/Indoor Substation.
Operations in all the 132kV /11kV Equipment’s such as power and auxiliary Transformers, SF6 CB, VCB, CTs, PTs, Isolators and Battery chargers etc.
Switching operations in 132kV GIS and 11kV Switch Gears by locally and also by using PMS.
Monitor and analyze Power Management System.
Carrying out Monthly, Half Yearly and Yearly maintenance work on Power Transformers, Earthing Transformers, Battery, Battery Charger, Switch Gears, and Lighting System etc.
Operation and Maintenance on Airport System, such as Electrical Service Pit and Pre Conditioned Air Pit.
Maintenance on AGL as per the direction from AGL Department.
Inspection in 132kV and 11kV cable roots.
Preparation of Method Statements, Risk Assessment Matrix and Check list for doing various maintenance works.
Conducting of Tool Box talks and Safety classes for maintenance works.
Supervise regular maintenance works of substation equipment’s such as transformers, reactors, switch gears, control and relay panels etc.
Permit the contractors for different maintenance works by opening the EPTW,SFT,LOA (Limitation of Access).
Keep regular communication with the control center regarding the crisis management.
Operations & Maintenance of 11KV 3.3MVA CUMMINS Diesel Generators.
Having Knowledge about Controls & Operation of DMC (Digital Master Control) and PCC (Power Command Control) Systems.
Preparation of progress reports, monthly reporting and quantity sheets, issuing stop cards etc
