Designing manual and automatic fixture line for robotic welding of automobile closure lines. We have to design fixtures for various loose parts for either manual loading or robotic loading. Several main line tools such as End effectors are designed to interact with various other main line tools to ensure complete automated line

Responsibilities

oDesigning of fixture by considering weld spots and weld guns which decided from planning department.

oTo understand the system layout, process equence involved in manufacturing of BIW closure panels and electrical controls diagram

oDesigning of Welding Respot inspection fixtures and end effectors of MH robots for BIW closure panels.

oModeling of each components and assembly structure

oHaving customer review for models through webex and getting approvals

oModel changes as per requirement from customer changes in weld spot are sequence changes

• Drafter

oI used to create 2D drafting from 3D model to for manufacturing.

oModels which are finalized will move to Drafting. Drafting of individual components will be created for manufacturing

oAssembly drawing are created where to shown each unit and parts in which and where they are assembled with clear picture in layout

Checker

oI have to ensure the design is completely workable without any issues. Simulation results are used to verify the model working effectively and also manufacturing feasibility.

oCreating BOM and releasing for purchase.

oAssembly installation and certification of tools ensuring the cad values to actual models

oTrail run for verification of tool complete working
