Dear Hiring Manager,
Thank you for the opportunity to apply for your Sonographer position at your company. After reviewing your job description, it’s clear that you’re looking for a candidate that is extremely familiar with the responsibilities associated with the role and can perform them confidently. As a future graduate, I believe that I have the necessary skills to successfully do the job adequately and exceed expectations.
I am a future college graduate receiving a bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Sciences from Georgia Southern University. During the course of my academic career, I managed to accrue 10 months of clinical work experience at 5 different hospitals/ doctors offices. I had the privilege to work beside some amazing techs to learn and gain a better knowledge of ultrasound. This is where I created valuable professional skills such as patient care, providing detailed exams so radiologist can diagnose a patient, writing and revising reports, and working alongside radiologist and physician assistants preforming various types of procedures. I have advanced my ultrasound technical skills on multiple types of ultrasound machines.
I would be a good candidate for your position because in my academic and professional life, I have proven adequate interpersonal skills, high- quality patient care, and excellent communication skills with various figures in a hospital. I also would be willing to relocate for any positions elsewhere that need to be filled. I also have a very flexible schedule, so I am willing to work nights, weekends, and major holidays.
After reviewing my resume, I hope you will agree that I am the type of competent and competitive candidate you are looking for. I am looking forward to elaborating my specific qualities and skills that will benefit your department. Thank you for your consideration I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Sincerely,
Sabrina Duffy
