● Experience in the machining of Haynes, Inconel, castings, forgings and weldments

● Sound analysis skills of prints, sketches, drawings and sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work piece, sequence and setup requirements

● Knowledge of GD&T, G and M codes, metric conversions and European drawing

● Selected, aligned and secured fixtures, cutting tools, accessories and materials on machines such as mills, lathes, grinders and tool pre-setters

● Calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors such as speed and feed, coolant mixture, flow and entered command to relieve, input or exit CNC machine control media

● Observed machine operation to detect malfunctions or out of tolerances by assisting machine controls accordingly

● Setup and operated machine on trial run to verify accuracy of machine settings to program control data ensuring functionality and performance

● Verified conformance of finished work piece to specifications by using precision measuring instruments

● Measured, marked and scribed dimensions and reference points on material or work piece as machining guides for rigid set ups
