Responsibilities consist of multiple distribution center operations. Directed office staff, pick pack operations, receiving and shipping personnel as well as tractor trailer drivers and OTR equipment maintenance. Responsible for inventory control of warehoused product as well as a LTL cross dock operation for multiple clients in a seven state area. Operations consist of multiple shift operations within multiple facilities using JD Edwards and AS 400 warehouse management software based on RF scanning of all inbound and outbound product.

Distribution Operations Manager

Managed the distribution operations for a national reseller of cellular phones and accessories. Responsible for over $100 million dollars of inventory. Co-headed the development the design, planning and operational procedures of a new distribution facility. Increased the distribution buildings square footage by 210%, which allowed the development of in-house operations for private label accessories. To increase market share and to increase profit, developed a new distribution pick pack operation and developed a new conveyor system using JD Edwards software programs. Trained employees on quality improvement procedures and developed bar coding for incoming and outgoing products. These procedures increased productivity 35% and allowed the center to achieve 99.9% on-time shipping goals
