PROJECT DETAILS
Bachelor of Engineering (Civil):
Project Title: “Study of a few accident black spots in mysuru” Description: The main objective of this study deals with the identification of blackspots and providing possible remedial measures to reduce the traffic crashes. Later, the site investigation was done at the spots and the faults were noted down. The corrective measures are provided for the identified blackspots.
Master of Engineering (Highways):
Thesis: “Determination of California baring ratio and unconfined compressive strength of soils treated with lime and Renolith as additive” Description: Unconfined Compression test (UCC) and California Bearing Ratio (CBR) test were conducted on silty soil and black soil with varying dosages of Renolith by dry weight of soil with optimum dosage of Lime. The soil is treated with optimum dosage of Lime and Renolith of different dosage 1.0 ml/kg, 2.0 ml/kg, 3.0 ml/kg and 4.0 ml/kg of dry weight of soil with which Renolith is diluted in water. The stabilized samples are cured and then tested to evaluate the effect of varying dosages of Renolith on strength characteristics of soils.
