Used cone shaped Plankton net to capture species.
Catch and Identify Phytoplankton and Zooplankton at the Nantucket Field Station, then give a report of findings on Power Point.
Capture spiders using different methods, then using 10x to 100x magnification identify species. This lab also took place at the Nantucket Field Station.
Participated in a two-week biology lab at the University of Massachusetts, Lowell. Learned about lab safety procedures, and how to use pipettes, test tubes, and various other equipment.
Participated in a lab with hands on use of Geographic Information Systems and completed a class project using GIS software.

US Army Veteran with 30% Disability rating, 3 years as a parachute rigger, prepared heavy loads for all types of Air drops, packed personal parachutes, inspected cargo parachutes. Held secret clearance. Last duty station was assigned to 82nd Airborne Division.
Community Involvement
Dana Farber Marathon Challenge team member participated in running the Boston Marathon twice while raising money (+$10,000.00) for cancer research. 2005-2008
Loyal Order Moose Past State President, held all chairs from lodge level to State President. Organized fund raisers and annual conventions and spoke frequently on the importance of membership retention. Loyal Order of Moose is a C301 non-profit organization dedicated to helping children, seniors, and doing community service. Increased lodge membership from 150 to 1100 members as lodge commander. As state president went from 25th Association to #1 in Nation, as MA/RI Moose Association President. 1983 - 2020
