Provided support to all areas of the hospital organization with their purchasing needs. This included creating purchase orders, expediting and following through to ensure all shipments were complete. My primary vendor was the main medical distributor in which I ordered supplies three times weekly to fill stock in our central supply warehouse.

I would spend time working on manufacturer back orders, researching for comparable products when vendor was unable to provide. I watched price changes, verifying with our GPO on the Healthtrust internet site that it was accurate before updating the system.

Worked daily with the accounts payable department on invoice discrepancies and assisted in resolutions, this included many times tracking missing product.

Assisted the warehouse with deliveries and also worked in the mailroom and print shop when needed.
