Consult with seismic offshore professionals to advise on compliance regulations and seismic permitting created by the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) in the Notice to Lessees (NTL) No. 2016-G02 Implementation of Seismic Survey Mitigation Measures and Protected Species Observer Program, and BOEM NTL No. 2016-G01 Vessel Strike Avoidance and Injured/Dead Protected Species Reporting.
Compile bi-monthly survey reports detailing seismic operations and wildlife detection data to the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management and project client representatives.
Utilize passive acoustic monitoring (PAM) for marine mammal detection while increasing seismic production during periods of reduced visibility, maintain all acoustic monitoring hardware/software, and resolve any technical issues.
