NYS DHCR is the agency which is responsible for maintenance of Homes in NY Metropolitan area. This agency has more than 150,000 buildings that are rent controlled and rent stabilized. DHCR handles more than 40 different Case Types across 4 Bureaus. The HUTS System is responsible for maintenance and regulation of these buildings and apartments to ensure that tenants are safe, and any updates are reflected in this system. RRSM (Rent Regulation System Modernization) will be the new system that replaces HUTS to be compliant with the state mandates.

Currently working on the NYSoH application as Business Analyst.

Making sure that the Change Requests are carried right from their initiation to deployment by coordinating with various business stakeholders, vendors by following multiple deadlines and getting concurrences on multiple documents accordingly.

CDCS (Contractor Data Collection System) is a web-based system used statewide approximately by 800 users in 120 sites. The team attempts to release a new version about 4 times annually, this project includes Juvenile and Adult Programs, Electronic Referrals, Conversion from SSIS package to WCF Services.

The next project is CCAS (Contract Compliance Auditing System), which is used by CSSD staff in Programs and Services. It records the results of visits and a location’s compliance with contractual requirement. This system requires maintenance such as addition of new programs, locations, address changes, etc.

Created Business Requirements Document for the State’s Inventory Database System.

Performed Regression testing of the CDCS system before the move to production for one of the releases.

Participated in Data Quality Reviews at 5 locations throughout Connecticut to check the authenticity of those programs.

Closely monitored Client Notification messages.
