Senior Director Technology Deployment
Responsible for all new Acute and ProFee client installs of R1 revenue cycle tools. This included governance of all projects, client management, solution design, creating project plan, data extraction (HL7 and batch files), vendor management, as well as all aspects of Revenue Cycle. Size of installs ranged from 1-26 hospitals and hundreds of clinics.

V4 Consulting (IT Director) – IT responsibilities included department budget, capacity planning, employee management, contract negotiations, telecom, infrastructure, customer support, Oracle Financials, and software development (Knowledge Portal for Hospitals and Internal project staffing).
PwC (IT Manager) - Responsibilities included setting up/maintaining research and development network/servers and maintaining all servers running Cold Fusion that were running in PwC’s data center. Also provided application development and support.
Reduced project staffing time by developing a state-of-the-art application to track projects and find qualified staff based on skills, time tracking/forecasting.
Created a state-of-the-art Knowledge Portal that far exceeded any other competitor product. Development cost covered by sales of the product.
Developed an application for a healthcare organization that took publicly available data and converted it to a central database. Designed application that allowed end-user to run 50 KPIs.

Control Diabetes (A Subsidiary of Eli Lilly) 1995-2001
Chief Information Officer
Sat on the management board to ensure alignment of technology with company strategy. Responsible for all IT budgets, contract management, employee management, contract developers, Oracle databases, data center, networks, disaster recovery plan, policies and procedures, and design of patient and payor-facing applications. Application was written in Java with Oracle databases for the backend. Payor-facing reporting system used Crystal Reports to deliver patient reports.
Developed state-of-the-art patient-facing application (Java Applet/Java) that tracked the wellness of diabetes patients as well as provided an advanced reporting system that payors could use to monitor their member’s progress.
Designed/built/Maintained data center for the company.
RAD (Rapid Application Development) used to release updates every four weeks.

Responsible for all networking and IT-related issues at three locations. Installed/configured all switches and routers. Installed CAT 5 cabling. Switched out old Token Ring network with Ethernet.
