ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Preparation of Inspection Test Plan – ITP, Procedure Method Statement – MS, with respect to Contract Specification.

Implement the QA/QC management system at site. Attend client quality management meetings.

Responsible for proper implementation of quality of works as per Engineering Standards Specifications, approved Procedure and approved QCP & ITP.

Coordinate quality inspections with contractors and vendors.

Witnessing of material, receiving, in process and final inspection.

Ensure work is performed to established technical requirements defined by project documentation including drawings, specifications, procedures, inspection & test plans and work instructions.

Review drawings & Specification, inspection of piping materials identification as per ISO drawings & materials take off before fabrication.

Witness of bonder qualification based on Project requirement and as per vendor Procedure.

Coordinating technical queries with contractors on daily basis.

QA/QC inspection & proper documentation to ensure correct fabrication, installation& testing of all mechanical works related to contract job.

Monitoring of raw material storage & handling as per Procedure and vendor specification.

Witnessing of bonding joints on daily basis.

Preparation of Joint inspection Report, Stringing Report, Lowering Report and Pipe book.

Provide technical clarifications to construction team during in process inspection at various stages of construction.

Coordinate with clients for project inspection for witnessing & hold point.

Collection of TG Sample as per ITP and review of TG Sample Report.

Maintain all relevant documents related to QC forms.

Responsible for all QA/QC inspection of piping materials in the Projects.

Identifies and reports non-conformance issued on site.

Coordinate with the construction team in order to close all NCR issued at site based on the nature of non-conformity.

Tracking of issued NCR's. Ensuring quality procedures are maintained at site.

Prepare the Hydro & Pneumatic Test packages.

Witness the pigging, flushing, and Water filling of pipeline.

Inspection during and after hydro test of piping checked documents such as approved Hydro test procedure calibration of relief valve pressure gauge, temperature and pressure recorder before hydro test .

Hydro testing witness of pipe line and calibration of pressure gauge.

Commissioning of AG and UG Pipeline.

Prepare the Project completion ITRS & Mechanical dossiers and to hand over the Soft & hard copy documents as per Project Tender packages.

Responsible for As-Built Drawings preparation and assist during final document handover to client.
