Supervision, Coordination erection and commissioning of various kinds of Instrumentation and

Control Systems.

Supervision of vendors for Skid Instrument Installation, Modification, Commissioning and

Trouble shooting.

Involved in the logic and functional testing of system, as it is the part of DCS & ESD system.

In-charge of field instrumentation construction activities like installation of Cable Tray, Impulse

Line, Air Line, Junction Box, Local Panel, Marshaling Cabinets, Cable Glanding & Termination.

Supervision of installation of fire and hydrocarbon gas detectors and its field simulation with

appropriate gas kit.

Preparation of document, Loop checking, Functional test, Trouble shooting, start up, Line up all

instruments, Functional test of Fire & Gas.

Obtain & comply with all PTW requirements.

Participate in preparing Activity Sequence Control Form, Method Statements.

Work in close co-ordination with the Section head to plan, coordinate, supervise and direct the

work of instrument technicians complying with all HSE & PTW requirement.

Supervise and participate in preventive, corrective and troubleshooting maintenance, of

instrument and control system.

Preparation and review of pre-commissioning/commissioning document check sheet, test

sheet. Preparation and review of commissioning loop folder as per system & sub system.

Performing and witnessing the all type of instruments, Control valves, ESD, ON/OFF valves, Fire

& Gas, Loop Testing, and Alarm Point Checking.

Performed in loop checking and faultfinding as per loop wiring & schematic logic diagram.

Performing control valves and ESD valves operation and stroke check.

Start -up time Line Up of all the all instruments and the level transmitters. Filling the particular

fluid in the tubing, calculate the upper and lower range value.

Functional test of all type of fire & gas instruments and calibration of instruments.

Performing functional test of fire & gas and all type of detectors instruments.

Understanding & solving the Loop Diagrams, Logic Diagram, Interlock Drawing, Cause & Effect,

Inst Hook-Up and all Panel & vendor wiring details.

Witness and acceptance the Commissioning Loop Folder as per system & sub system.

Preparation of punch list and review of pre-commissioning & commissioning dossiers.

Co-ordinate between contractor and operator the work permits.

Preparation of Turn-over package documents for Mechanical Completion that consists all

engineering and construction disciplines such as Built, Test Reports Punch List, Vendor Drawing

and other related documents.

Attending coordination meeting and acquaint the planning and schedule to SubContractor

representative.

Assisting the Sub-contractor for all kind of technical queries relating to drawings, specifications

and project standards.

Coordination with clients engineering department to resolve the engineering Issues Final Punch

points.
