PROJECTS

Automatic Trash Compactor using Linear Actuators January 2019 – May 2019 Design & Calculations Chicago, IL

• Performed Mathematical Engineering Operations to determine functional requirements such as the weight and force the compactor would use as well as materials needed to manufacture the Compactor while minimising any form of risks when using the machinery.

• Utilized Autodesk inventor software and a 3D printer to design and manufacture all the necessary parts including a rack and pinion mechanism for which the compactor would be guided when in vertical motion.

• Used linear actuators to aid the movement of the compacting disk which was 5 seconds faster than the average Trash Compactor. Magnetic Levitation on Vehicles August 2018 – May 2019 Design Engineer/ Manufacturing Engineer Chicago, IL

• Collaborated with an award winning Professor in Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering in designing and creating a Solid Structure using Auto desk Inventor and a laser cutter which would serve as the levitating platform made out of MDF sheets.

• Hand Coiled insulated copper wire round the cylindrical core in which current from a power supply is applied creating a large enough electro- magnetic field to counter the effects of gravity. The number of turns on the coil was carefully noted for data purposes and creation of more models.

• Successfully Manufactured a Levitating device that has proper data statistics in order to make more models and improve structure and size. Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Manufacture August 2015 – December 2015 Design/ Manufacturing Cost Analyst Chicago, IL

• Contributed in Developing and designing the Lay-out of parts of the UAV taking into consideration the size, weight, the material used and also what kind of propellers used in making the airplane using Autodesk Inventor.

• Compiled an Excel sheet for cost analysis of different parts, materials, welding and riveting tools and/or services in order to find the cheapest way to build the project.
