I am in residential construction and have over 20 years exp. in all facets of construction. I am a certified weather stopper contractor with GAF. Ran my own crew of 2 people up to 10 people. Performed all necessary informal training if needed. Doing everything from landscaping to exterior and interior finishing. Providing designs and blueprints/drawings. Providing a good service experience for my clients and working with in their budgets. Performed tasks such as removing existing shingles/roof materials, repairing or altering structure, installing new shingles including skylights, chimneys and vents etc. removing existing siding on houses, altering or repairing structure and installing new siding including vinyl and hardie plank also swapping out windows and doors when requested.
Other tasks included building decks and patio roof structures, cutting and bending metal to make trims cladding and flashings. Cleaning out gutters and cleaning up work sites. Maintaining positive attitudes with clients to have good service experience.
Lead hand/subcontractor, Havan Built Homes ; Reddeer Alberta — 2009-2011
Performed tasks such as - concrete forming and prep, foundation water proofing and weeping tile installation, reading blueprints, framing houses from start to finish. Installing shingles on said houses, installing windows and doors, installing hardwood and tile and landscaping for these new homes. Also looking after sites to maintain safe work environments, and working with other trades to help see jobs to completion. Operating zoom boom and skidsteer when necessary.
