TITLE : A COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF SMC CONTROLLED BASED IDVR FOR POWER QUALITY IMPROVEMENT

Description :

This Project deals with a comparative analysis of sliding mode controller (SMC) based interline dynamic voltage restorer (IDVR) for voltage sag compensation. The main objectives of this paper are to improve the power quality in multiline distribution system, to reduce THD and improve the finite time stability of the closed loop system. The IDVR is combination of the two DVRs which can improve the voltage of weaker line. The closed loop PID, ANN & SMC Controlled based IDVR are modelled & simulated using simulink software and the result are presented.
