WORK EXPERIENCE:
PhD:
Doing Research at CEG, ANNA UNIVERSITY (JUNE 2016-2021).
Topic is INVESTIGATION ON SWITCHED RELUCTANCE MACHINE SYSTEMS
FOR RENEWABLE ENERGY APPLICATIONS.
This work supporting under Senior Research Fellowship by The Council of Scientific and
Industrial Research (CSIR-HRDG), Government of India.
Research involves Renewable energy and electrical drives. The complete design of machine
and controller are fabricated and tested for different conditions for desired application. The
application of this project is wind generator and electrical vehicle.
PROJECT EXPERIENCE
1.Switched reluctance generator for wind generator application (standalone system).
2. Outer rotor synchronous reluctance motor for electrical vehicle application.
3.Comparative analysis of induction motor and synchronous reluctance motor for electrical vehicle
application.
4. Switched reluctance motor for spindle motor application.
5.Outer rotor switched reluctance motor for grinder application.

ACADAMIC PROJECTS:
1. Title: Design and Analysis of Switched Reluctance Generator with Different Pole
Configurations and Structural Changes to Reduce Losses (Ph. D)
Description: This project focuses on the sizing of a different pole configurations for Switched
reluctance generator (SRG) to suit the wind velocity using TRV method. An initial
performance prediction is done through mathematical calculation, analytical design tool and
the detailed electromagnetic static and dynamic analysis was carried out using finite element
analysis method.
2. Title: Analysis of permanent magnet brushless dc motor with slotted and slot less
design(ME)
Description: To analyze the performance in PMBLDC slotted motor and PMBLDC slot less
motor design. In slot less stator design, originated with the goal to deliver smooth- running
performance and it eliminates cogging. Fabrication is done for desired parameter.
3. Title: Zero voltage switching for Power factor improvement(BE).
Description: Automatic control of supply power factor based on ZVS technique with use of
micro controller programming.
TRAININGS UNDERGONE:
Attended a workshop on design approaches of modern electric motors at PSG
College of technology Coimbatore during 21st to 22nd December 2018.
Participated in the one-day workshop on application of computational analysis in
switched reluctance machines. Organized by the school of mechanical and building
science and school of electrical engineering, VIT University Chennai on
