Experience
150 Quick Stop Bardstown, Kentucky
Cashier June 2019-January 2021 (Seasonal)
My main responsibility was working the register and communicating/assisting with customers throughout the vast majority of my shift, making sure the customer’s experience was quick, easy and overall pleasant.
I also held many other responsibilities that included stocking products, minor maintenance tasks, filling orders, and cleaning. Anything that needed to be done in order to keep everything running smoothly and effectively throughout the store was part of my responsibility during my shift.
BCD Inc. Bardstown, Kentucky
General Construction Laborer June 2020-July 2020 (Summer Job)
Among my responsibilities were many physical labor tasks. These tasks included framing and pouring concrete, pressure washing, carpentry, painting, tearing out and installing floor, using power and hand tools, and numerous other residential and commercial construction tasks.
I was also tasked with working with a crew and under a foreman, using teamwork to get jobs done in a timely manner and cooperating to complete tasks efficiently.
When I was not working with a crew, I was often at residential job sites by myself. My foreman gave me certain tasks to have finished by the end of the day, which I would sometimes finish before he returned to the site, teaching me how to be proactive and complete tasks on my own that needed to be done but had not been explicitly outlined yet.
