Sundram Fasteners Limited – Autolec Division, Chennai Designation : Engineer – QA – June 2017 to Till Date Brief about Organization : Manufacturers of Rocker levers, Cam followers, Turbo housings and various types of Engine assembly subcomponents are manufacturing and assemblies, Our Major customers are Cummins India and Exports, CTT India and CTT USA, Navistar, Daimler, Danfoss, Scania & New Holland. CURRENT ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

In-Process Quality:

• Inspection of Inhouse parts for defects and deviations from specifications.

• Daily Organize the Quality circle meeting in the shift Beginning and discuss the daily Rejections and find out the solutions through TOTAL EMPLOYEE INVOLVEMENT.

• Co-ordinate with Customer during Inhouse PPAP Audit & Other Customer Audits.

• Co-ordinate with NPD during new development samples production and provide Setup Approval.

• Daily Ensure the checksheet,DHS and FOA.

• Conducting Layout inspection, Process audit against Plan.

• Inspection of new development parts & report making.

• Responisible for DWM.

• Attending and Handling customer complaints by submitting 8D report to customer.

• Maintaining Documents like checksheets,First off approval etc

• Daily rejection monitoring and analysis

• Problem solving techniques through 7 QC Tools Quality Improvement

• Core Tools – SPC, MSA and FMEA.

• Knowledge on PPAP and APQP

• Knowledge in GD & T

• Knowledge in SAP.
