(CAR) to make a non-polluting vehicle i.e. Solar car. In this car we are using the solar energy from solar panels to run the electric motor.

DESIGN & FABRICATION OF “INTERNAL GRINDING ATTACHMENT ON LATHE” Team Size : 3 members

Description

We have selected this project to bring our idea of internal grinding operation job by using center lathe. In this process the internal surface is grinded by rotating the grinding wheel at high speed in tool post and the job is rotating in chuck.

In this project, we have brought our idea, developing the internal grinding with center lathe. We hope that it has been completed successfully with the facilities available in the machine shop and also with in available valuable guidance of the workshop lab instructors for completing this project. Project Undertaken: Construction of Flowline, Pipeline & other associated works in North Kuwait area including GC-29, GC-30 & GC-31.

Job Responsibilities:

Checking of engineering drawings of the proposed sites.

Assessing the quantities of the materials required from the drawings.

Coordinating with senior engineers and the contractors for the assessment of the job.

Executing and supervising the work.

Coordinating with fabricators and fitters to work using the specifications provided.

Preparing the daily progress plan and working to achieve the targets.

Coordinating with the Quality Control Department to check for perfection or defects.

Effectively handling the manpower resources to complete the project on time.
