• The dissertation was about “Why is it important for International Relations to reconsider its focus on women?” which analyses the victimisation of women in times of war (such as rape as a weapon of war, sexual abuse as a strategy, etc) and peace
(domestic violence). In addition, the research also emphasised on how women are also agents of violence (Tamil female combatants of the LTTE who fought against the ruling Sinhalese government in Sri Lanka) rather than just being victims of war, by breaking the stereotypes. Overall, the core arguments in the thesis stressed upon the importance and necessity of studying war and peace through women over bottom up approach as women’s experiences can be understood from an actual or genuine point of view rather than by interpretation. 2. Work Experience:
• Honest and open to say that I do not possess any work experience yet. After schooling, did bachelor’s and then straight away did master’s too. But all I wanted to say is that “the experience should begin SOMEWHERE” and would like to begin that opportunity and experience by opting for this job role in this firm. Will never ever take this job for granted.
• Without any hesitation and inhibition, can assure that will give the best to pay justice to this job title and role by working hard, being able to execute what this job demands, accepting and trying to fight and overcome new challenges, adopting to sudden or unexpected changes in the work dynamics or circumstances, multitasking and whatever requires to be capable of this job role. Also, much comfortable in coming up with flexible approaches to find solution to any problem. Someone who respects, welcomes and recognises others’ perspectives and opinion, good at collaborative tasking, responsible, focussed, dedicated, gentle and someone who gives importance to nuances and the tiniest of details.
• So, kindly requesting not to judge my ability without even giving an opportunity to prove myself. Thankyou.
