Objective: A Load flow analysis is a steady state analysis whose aim is to determine the voltage
,current, real and reactive power flow in a system under a given load conditions. Description: A Load flow analysis is a steady state analysis whose aim to determine the voltage, current, real and reactive power flow in a system under a given load conditions. The system under consideration is 11/.433Kv PCE substation, from where incoming line of 11Kv is supplied to 15 feeders from transformer of 500KVA which step downs the voltage from 11kv to 433volt. This incoming line is then distributed into 12 different department including 3 towers. This feeders are distributed to department at different length. To deal with load flow analysis using software is accurate and gives highly reliable results. This project makes effective use of Electrical Transient Analyzer Program (ETAP) to carry out load flow analysis of 11 kV PCE substation.
Achivements:
Comparative study between Newton-Raphson and Gauss-Seidel method for power flow analysis by ETAP Published in Journal NCRTEE-19.
