Synopsis: Over 30 years of progressive experience in client retention, building up A&E practice by writing proposals, design, engineering and project management as registered professional engineer on critical facilities projects with concentration on Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Safety, Security, & technology from Concepts to completion including closeout, 11 month warranty walk from substantial completion and hand over to owner after renovation/construction.

Environmental Systems Design for first Boeing 747 interior as Presidential Plane (Air Force One). Design of HVAC, Oxygen and Water system for Air Force one.

Teaming experience for large design and construction projects with multiple team players in different offices and coordinate their work from Program of Requirements through schematic design, design development, construction documents, permitting, construction management, commissioning, and project closeout.

Prepare and negotiate Architect and Engineering Service contracts, develop fees and budgets.

Mentor professional engineers for multidiscipline project design integration. Perform Quality control to meet ISO requirements.

Review contractors’ submittals, shop drawings etc. to meet project requirements as per contract.

Manage design and construction from owner’s program of requirements to completion.

Take responsibility of project for Architectural systems, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, Fire Alarm and Controls, Building Automation System, IT and Communication, Security and Controls integration as DASH Board.

Provide QA/QC, coordination, life time client retention, design and construction team integration. Other Critical projects completed:

GSA 1800 F Street 1917 Building HVAC system design with water and energy saving, solar

and green roof with a day care center phase one close out with Architect SBA & owner. Complete MEP intermediate documents for phase II with Gensler Architects.

Design of ODOT 6 head quarter building with operating ASPHLAT Testing Laboratory in Columbus, Ohio.

Beneficial Insects 21000 square feet Laboratory Newark, Delaware.

Audit of 8 Data Centers for Congressional Study for Energy Bench Marking.

Conversion of historical Coal Power Plant into Accident Fund headquarter building with biggest developer of Lansing Michigan & HOK.

40 million dollar fees management in 2004-2006 for BJY/Bernard Johnson Corporation after Mr. Johnson passed away by managing Rockville, MD MEP offices on behest of CFO.

As Director of MEP Services / LEAD Mechanical Engineer / Sr. Project Manager / Project Executive: provide leadership for design and construction phase services for state, federal and private sector MEP, HVAC, & Life Safety projects. Manage MEP department for 6 to 10 people and work with over 20 professionals. Registered Professional Engineers report to me on Secret Projects for Wright Pat Air Force Base project for Anechoic chambers and shield rooms.

11/26/2012 to 11/14/2014: Syska Hennessy Group; Senior Associate / Supervising Engineer II. Worked as Site Engineer/Manager for an Oil Company North American 90 MW Data Center with lowest PUE in San Antonio, Texas now purchased by MSFT Cloud. Also worked on design support of GSA head quarter building in Washington DC HVAC systems and Digital Reality COLOCO projects prior to their acceptance by clients..

6/2011 to 9/2012 : Worked for LNV Inc. (now an Ardurra company) leading in water,waste water where I supported with power distribution, SCADA systems, Pumps selection including belts/ presses.

5/2009-6/2011 Lead MEP ENGINEER URS Dallas Office and worked in over 25 million dollar fee 1.8 Billion Dollar Construction Cost Project's schematic design, contributed and managed MEP department. Design of Northwest Arkansas Airport new terminal MEP design, managed three other projects, provided support to marketing and was engineer of record on eight projects as extension of DFW Airport ADE division as Lead MEP Engineer for in-house design team. Worked with URS Corporation for a mechanical contractor on California Prisoners Receivership project for 10,000 Prisoners bed hospitals, On stoppage of that project Was hired by URS Corporation and moved to Dallas offices as Senior MEP Engineer.

2/2008 to 12/2008 Ove Arup, Los Angeles, Associate Principal

-Provided design development for a signature architect for an Insurance Company Head Quarters by converting a historical coal power plant into 7 story class a building attached to all glazed four story building via atrium on water body in Lansing Michigan for large oldest developer in town. Prepared infra-structure and design for 7 million square feet convention center with exhibition halls and three hotels (about 3500 rooms) for Las Vegas for Gensler, later used for Dubai project. Provided help with mitigating problems with Kaiser and UCLA hospital during commissioning.

8/2007 to 1/2008 EYP Mission Critical Facilities (Became HP on Jan. 21, 2007), Los Angeles Mechanical Department Head/Principal Mechanical Engineer -Provided direction and QA for 11.25 MW generation and 4800 ton Central Chilled Water plant project for Garland Building, Los Angeles down town project. Provided design for 10 Microsoft Data Centers around the country. Company was purchased by HP who made offer but as candidate I did not accept it.

2004 to 2008 worked with Arizpe Group, Bernard Johnson Corporation, York International and Bexarmet as MEP Division Manager/Director special projects.
