• Identification and investigation of potential threats to Columbus State University and it’s students.
• Act as a member of a team in order to react to adversarial attacks and mitigate damages.
• Use Splunk and Security Onion to investigate logs for indicators of compromise.

Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition - 2019, 2020
• Worked to secure a simulated enterprise network against an active attack by volunteer professional penetration testers.
• Performed system hardening on servers pre-seeded with malware and backdoors.
• Ranked 2nd place out of 31 teams in the 2019 preliminary season.
Department of Energy’s Cyber Defense Competition - 2020
• Competed as an individual to defend a simulated network of the WindFarm Corporation from a group of hackers.
Collegiate Penetration Testing Competition - 2019
• Mimicked a real-world penetration testing engagement.
• Had to provide a report and present to company
management.
• Exfiltrated sensitive business files through an open FTP service with anonymous read.

Black Box Society Leadership 2016 - 2021
• Club President January 2020 to present, managed the organization through COVID scheduling virtual meetings and other remote activities.
