1) Project Title : Length measurement of iron steel sheet on continuous pickling line or industrial purpose.
Project Aim : The main idea of this project is to automatically measure the length of the iron steel sheet & reduce power.
Language : Embedded C for AVR microcontroller (Atmega16 IC)
Description : In this project, we used an incremental encoder which is interfaced with AVR Atmega16. An incremental encoder will generate pulse for each incremental steps in its rotation. As soon as the circuit is turned on & the sheet passes a distance of 12 cm it will give count 1. Thus we designed a measurement system just to add ease
& accuracy to the system.
2) Project Title : Prepaid Energy Meter using GSM
● Project Aim : The aim of the project is to automate the prepaid billing of energy meter.
● Software specification : Keil version IDE, Embedded C.
● Description : In this project, we are building an automated system by using Arduino and GSM module. You can recharge the electricity balance through this system, just by sending a SMS. It can also disconnect the home power supply connection, if there is low or zero balance in the system. The prepaid energy meter uses a recharge which is available in various ranges.The recharge is done by using a mobile and the meter is charged with the amount. According to the power consumption, the amount will be reduced. A relay system has been used which shut down or disconnect the energy meter and load through supply mains when the recharge amount is depleted. A buzzer is used as an alarm which starts before the recharge amount reaches a minimum value. STRENGTHS:
