NCL helped us make friends and realize how fortunate we really are. I worked at a handful of local philanthropies but I spent the most time at our chapter’s thrift shop. ‘balance the books’.

For my first official job, I dedicate my time to organizing and perfecting the overall look of our sales floor. As well as improving the ease and functionality of the individual’s shopping experience, customer service is one of my everyday duties. Checking for item availability, independently zoning 50-100 racks, and organizing and distributing up to 15 go back racks are just a little bit of what I am used to handling.

As a Pet Care Associate, my responsibilities are feeding and caring for the animals that are sold at my PetSmart location. My knowledge is concentrated in caring for reptiles, small animals, fish, and birds but extends to dogs, cats, and other furry friends. I pride myself in my work and enjoy sharing my vast knowledge of animals in those who need it. Memorizing important pet information is a large part of my position but I am not afraid to ask for help so I can ensure that the information I give is accurate and helpful. ㅡ
