To whom it may concern,

I am writing in regards to Josh Marlow, who interned with us at 730 the Game in the Fall of 2019 leading into January of 2020.

Josh was an excellent addition to the morning show, who showed a level of initiative we seldom see from other students. I never ask interns to arrive before 7:00am despite our program starting at 6:00am, but Josh would arrive at least 15 minutes before the broadcast, demonstrating a rare promptness that went above and beyond. Not to mention, he lived an hour away.

Josh was responsible for producing thorough and proofread content in a fast paced environment that is sports radio. Uploading interviews to our station website, editing audio, creating on-air content/questions for talent use, etc. were all required in an efficient and timely manner. There’s a lot of work to be done, yet he delivered accurately and effectively upon every request. If Josh finished everything on his checklist, he would find another way to contribute. Simply put, Josh made our jobs easier.

Josh is creative and versatile enough to thrive in any environment he finds himself in. He’ll meet any task with enthusiasm and confidence. On the off chance he doesn’t have the answer, he’ll either find it or ask at an appropriate moment and retain information the first time. I said Josh made an excellent addition to our team; He would make an excellent addition to yours as well.
