Oversee field operations for the Steep Slope Line Bye- Pass for Pembina Pipelines. I gave orientations to new employees, sub-contractors and client personnel associated with the project. I completed inspections of all project worksites. I attended daily safety meetings and conducted any investigations into any environmental spills that occurred onsite. I provided coaching opportunities for personnel who were not in compliance with A&B’s working procedures. There were no incidents that occurred while I was employed on the project. Oversee the entire project Contractor H&S program. Organize and lead project to contractor/sub-contractors and client representatives on Chevron site specific orientations, identifying potential hazards, reviewing site conditions, equipment, procedures, and regulations. Supply guidance and direction to the contractors/subcontractor H&S program, which can be utilized while working on a project. Administer daily safety meetings which clients and contractors participate in, generate daily safety reports regarding project activities, and aide contractor with investigating and closing project incidents. Produce and submit accurate and up-to-day project statistics on a monthly basis. Examine and analyze project activities, verifying OH&S, AER regulations compliance, as well as Chevron and contractor safe work practices and procedures compliance. Maintain all safety documentation allowing for efficient reference access on future projects. Key Accomplishments:
• Monitored five rows of various piping material in a common ditch with line sizes varying from 4 inches to 16 inches, 17km in length, with no medical aids- Phase 1- Phase #2 Same diameters of pipe 11km in length. These lines have been constructed to support Chevron’s drilling operations and Pembina Pipelines operations. Key Projects:
• Field Advisor for Kaybob Duvernay Facility Construction Project – Fox Creek South (FCSO), a pipeline project now in the final stages- Phase two.
