Treasurer/Owner, New Century Child Development LLC/Growing Kids Child Care LLC (December 2006 – January 2016))
Created the business plan and concept, established, built, owned and operated two 10,500 sq ft Early Learning Centers each licensed for 240 children located in different Virginia counties. Employ a staff of over 50 administrators, teachers and care givers. Own and operate six buses and an inground swimming pool for the Centers. Responsible for all bookkeeping, payroll, purchasing for each center. Revenues from the Centers were over $2.5 M per year. Responsible for all county, state and federal financial filings for taxes, insurance and unemployment. Created annual reports and projections for the coming year that supported marketing and management actions. Utilized ProCare, CCM, Quickbooks, and MS Office to support financials. Negotiated the sale of both centers to Cadence Education of Morgan Stanley. Configuration Manager, OnPoint Corporation (September 2012 – December 2013) Supported the Director Technology Division of the International Security and Nonproliferation Bureau at the Department of State. Created the Configuration Management Plan processes and metrics. Develop, implement and support all configuration, change and release policies and processes for the Director. Senior Configuration Manager, Lockheed Martin Corporation (October 2009 – September 2012) Supported the Veterans Affairs (VA) Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Health Information Systems (HIS) Office. Quality Management/Process Management Manager, EDS Corp (Jan 1998 – July 2000) Responsible for the creation and implementation of all Quality Management activities for the Department of State Enterprise Network Management (ENM) Project. The Enterprise Network is used for all unclassified and Sensitive But Unclassified (SBU) applications worldwide within the State Department. Configuration Management Manager, EDS Corp (Nov 1994 - Dec 1997) Lead, manage and evaluate a team of 36 CM specialists from four different contractors in support of the Immigration and Naturalization Service Information Technology Partnership (INS-ITP). Responsible for the creation of the configuration management program for all INS software and hardware.
