Summary
Engineer Hussam Al Khateeb has a wide experience as an electrical team leader, in execution, design, supervision and maintenance of electrical works, mainly for hospitals and other health care facilities. I was Head of electrical department in one of Mega project (KAP2 project Saudi Arabia – its value 25 billion SAR) in international (Turkish) consultant – NKY Architects and Engineers, During my experience I was design,supervise, electrical project manager & participated several times in bidding process including bids evaluation, awarding, variation orders, and settlement of disputes. Between 2000 and 2014 I was directly involved the following main projects : Al Basheer Hospital in Amman / Jordan (3 phases/ 1000 beds,) Prince Hamza Hospital in Amman 450 beds, Al Salt Hospital 450 beds in Balqa Governorate, ( under construction), Prince Al Hussein Hospital ( 100 Beds ) in Balqa Governorate. Prepared tenders documents for main contracts and maintenance contracts. With in-depth knowledge of local and international standards, norms and building code practices, such as; Local Jordanian Codes, BS, IEC, IEEE, NEC, ( NFPA), FIDIC/ Green Book. I was participated several times during career in bids evaluation and selection of consultants and contractors, with good awareness of local and international tendering guidelines.
I am member in the Jordanian Society of Consulting Electrical Engineers., Saudi Council Of Engineers, good team leader with skills of mediation and coordination, with management capacity. Training of Senior & junior Electrical engineers was one of my activities.

My responsibilities was to check out and Upgrade the design for KAP2 project and to coordinate with the client for his requirement and to comply the new design with international and Saudi codes and standard in design and supervision engineering consultancy
KAP2 project have totally 45 sites in execution handled by 6 contractors, there are 24 to 32 buildings entities taking place on each site. A technical team of 14 senior electrical engineers is managed. Depending on size, sites were having 10 to 30MVA installed power with multiple substations with electrical infrastructure & coordinated with MEP and Integrated building were taking place throughout project. Building entities were dormitories, health care centers, sport facilities, classroom buildings, and higher education centers for the officers, and officers’ villas. Observed; review process was congested. Reformed review process, and created key templates for reviewing engineers ensuring unified comments for treatment of submittals. High quality engineering comments were generated; appreciation was received from NKY overseas director
