Travel Planner website with Custom Itineraries for Geelong Winner of the Monash post graduate Industry Experience Expo 2019 under the category “Victorian Economic Issue”.We used human centred design principles to define a problem relating to regional Victorian economic issue. Our research found the problem was not enough tourists were staying overnight in regional areas, which was keeping their spending down.
Our solution was a web application offering custom itineraries to encourage overnight stays. We aimed it at families, because our research found this audience was most likely to stay overnight.
Our USP was a route optimisation feature that provides users with the shortest possible route.
As a PM/BA I was responsible for managing Kanban board, conducting stand-ups, scrum master, noting meeting minutes, conducting retrospectives and writing technical, business and product related documentations.
University Friend Finder Application UI/UX Design As a part of my User Interface Design and Usability unit’s prototyping assignment, I designed an University Friend Finder Application. The design was inspired partly from Material design by Google and partly from iOS design.
The UI design received feedback that stated it as “One of the best designed apps” by the tutor.
Industry standard design principles and guidelines were followed such as Typography principles, Icons and Imagery guidelines, Gestalt Law, etc.
The initial design was developed in Mockingbot which was later modified in Adobe XD with detailed animations and lastly animated in Adobe After Effects with micro interactions.
Appropriate Users stories and Epics were created to begin the design process.
