Job Responsibilities: -

Responsible for dispatching drivers for daily pickups and deliveries in an efficient way to get maximum level of productivity, and keeps update about drivers where about/positioning using system FRIMS.

Attending pick up requests from Customer on phone and via e-mails.

Verifies bill of lading for all information i.e. drivers mark cubes /footage marked /stackable –non stackable and dangerous goods /MSDS information or delivery instruction for accuracies.

Responsible for equipment safety and preventive maintenance as per DOT requirements for company and owner operator equipment and maintain its record.

Book appointments for special deliveries.

Deals with CN and CP about pickups and loads in gating, Reservation booking for different destinations.

Making Running orders for drivers for high way and for CN/CP loads.

Accurately enters all dispatch events into the online system to ensure timely delivery and pickup of trailers

Typing skills 30-35 words/min.

Preparing documents/ driver manifests for outbound loads.

Verifies regular yard inventory and coordinate with the dock/ loading staff to ensure the use of appropriate equipment.

Responsible for resolving escalated issues by coordinating with Operation Head.

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technical Education Punjab (1990-94)

Post Graduate Diploma in Operation Management Symbiosis – Pune (2004-2006)
