I have *+ years’ experience in Database administration in production environment Microsoft SQLServer2008/R2/2012/2014/2016,2017 in development, testing and production environments while ensuring their performance, availability, and internal/external security.

Good experience in performance tuning, troubleshooting and query optimization using native tools like Activity Monitor, Perfmon Counter, Dynamic Management Views (DMV), Extended Event, Profiler and now Query optimizer.

Experience with patching service packs, Hot fixes (if need be), cumulative updates and SQL Security patches.

Expertise in Always-On Availability Groups (AAG) and HA/DR Troubleshooting.

Solid understanding of user management and database security at different levels to ensure data security.

Responsibilities:

Involved in SQL Server Installation and applying service packs for servers as released requested.

Demonstrable experience of Installation, migration, upgrade, and maintenance of multiple SQL Server Databases.

Demonstrable experience with backups, recovery, and optimization.

Monitored data activities (i.e., database status, logs, space utilization, extents, Checkpoints, locks, blockings, deadlocks, and long transactions).
