DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: ●Checker for junior draughtmen work
●Checking SAP QC work loaded on the SAP system
●Attending site visits to investigate and take measurements
●Working closely with mechanical/electrical engineers and stakeholders to ensure projects/drawings are delivered on time.
●Responsible for the production of engineering drawings to approved standards and optimizing existing work.
●Generating of 3D CAD models of existing and new products.
●Identifying customer requirements, making models and prototypes of products.
●Using AutoCAD and Inventor for drawing designs.
●Attending meetings on site and booking drawings through SAP and EDMS.
●Preparation of mechanical/electrical drawings for installation test, commissioning, evaluating the potential approaches and decide on best option and them implementing the required drawings.
●Reading electrical design specifications and technical drawings.
●Negotiating with suppliers and purchase items at optimum cost with designers.
●Planning my own projects given to me and supporting the Sasol specific standards.
●Attending meetings, writing reports and giving presentations to managers and clients.
