Environment: ASP 3.0, C#.Net, SQL Server 2000, SQL Server 2005

LMG (Legal Markets Group) provides production support and maintenance for a set of applications. The set of applications include – SECNet and Topic Navigator.

SECnet (Securities and Exchange Commission, US) is a tool for searching and retrieving SEC documents that are required by Securities Attorneys. SECnet assists in the preparation of securities filings and the research required for due diligence and general client representation. SECnet is offered in conjunction with other CCH securities current awareness and primary source publications. SECnet provides good value, but needs to have the same features and functionality as LIVE Edgar, the current market leader.

Topic Navigator is an application which helps to search topics. This tool will link to CCH information by topic, rather than by publication. Topic Navigator contains information from a wide variety of CCH resources, which include books, reporters, and journals—all gathered specifically for research needs. CCH editors have created an exhaustive list (or map) of research topics and then indexed a range of CCH material to this map. Under each topic in the map, a variety of links to different CCH publications on that particular topic is available.

2. Wolters Kluwer – EPDS Nov’06 – Nov’08

EPDS (Electronic Product Development Services) provides production support and maintenance of the Group I set of applications. The set of applications include – Chargemaster Comply, Reimbursement Toolkit, Chargemaster Comply Toolkit, FinEst calculators and CMPro Tools.

Chargemaster Comply is a large-scale, multi-fielded, look-up table that includes the ability to interact with the documents as well as export certain documents into lookup table in a plain text format. Chargemaster toolkit provides the editorial staff editors with functionality to upload specific pieces of data into Chargemaster database. The CCH Reimbursement Toolkit is an internet-based application to assist health care professionals with forecasting the Medical Reimbursement under Prospective Payment System. CMPro is a desktop application that is used to update/manage hospital’s proprietary CDM (Charge Description Master). CCH FinEst calculators is a web based electronic productivity tool designed for attorneys, financial planners and accountants who perform estate planning, retirement planning and related activity for the clients.

4. COLLEX - ONYX - PAPERLESS TRUCK SYSTEM (PTS) Oct’05 – May’06

Environment: C# .Net, SQL Server 2000, Telerik r.a.d. controls

Collex-Onyx is one of Australia's leading Environmental Services companies providing services in the fields of waste management and industrial services. Paperless Truck System (PTS) application facilitates in automating the services provided to the customers. The main components involved in the functioning of the Paperless Truck System are RMS, PTS Engine, PTS Portal and MDT (In-Vehicle System).

PTS Portal application is a web based application used by administrators and the users like CLO (Chief Logistics Officer). The user dispatches scheduled or unscheduled jobs from RMS to different routes through portal. The jobs are sent to MDT device in the trucks through WiFi or CDMA communication. The jobs are carried out by drivers and the trucks are tracked online through Geographical Positioning System (GPS). The job statuses are monitored while the driver progresses the jobs. The GPS of the truck is tracked for up-to-date information on the work carried out on the particular route, truck details, performance of the trucks and driver details.

5. American Honda – Trade Compliance System Feb’05 –Sep’05

Trade Compliance System (TCS) is to automate and make compliance with US customs rules & regulations that include duty process, classification process, Entry History process & Amendments process for different automobile products that are imported from different countries by AHM. Project scope includes preparation of low-level design, construction, testing and Implementation support.

6. Dealer Communication Management (DCM) Feb’05 – Apr’05

Environment: ASP 3.0, C# .NET, SQL Server 2000

The System assists the Dealers to submit claims for each part to the Manufacturer System. The Manufacturer System can either accept the claim by filling the payment information for each part or decline the claim. This data is then sent to the Dealer system. The communication between the two systems is carried over using Web Services.

7. Ticket Request Processing Application for HCL Intranet Aug’04 – Jan’05

Environment: VB .Net, HTML, SQL Server

Ticket Request Processing Application allows HCL Associates to submit ticket requests via HCL intranet, rather than using the paper based system. This application is developed using VB.NET and SQL Server 2000. Reviewers can approve or deny the ticket requests with their comments on each request.

Separate user authentication is created for this application and the user interface is created in ASP.NET. Reviewers with necessary privileges can view the requests submitted to them.
