I am a senior at Boston University pursuing a B.S. in Communications/Advertising with a minor in Economics. I am very interested in applying for your Media Intern at Geometry Global. To deepen my knowledge regarding market research and the communications field, I joined the country’s largest student run marketing agency called AdLab as a strategist beginning of September 2020. I conducted primary/secondary research and made data-driven insights for a home staging company client by using social listening tools, analyzing quantitative and qualitative data, conducting competitive research, and completing In-depth interviews. The creative assets and marketing strategy that I spearheaded during this process helped the client increase their social media presence and website traffic rate by 10%. My experience at AdLab greatly improved my understanding of analytical skills, communication research methods, and I learned how to coordinate with cross- functional teams such as the creatives, directors, copywriters, and branding team. Following my interest in consumer insight and data analysis, I currently work at a business service company called Concentrix assisting with their data asset management. I categorize and organize digital content using excel to optimize an accurate search experience for my client’s internal employee system. In order to better understand the clients tone, content, and expectations, we have weekly meetings where I take notes and present our teams progress. Through this experience, I was able to learn how to handle large sets of data, sharpen my data interpretation skills, and improve my MS office proficiency to a professional level. With a collaborative mindset, I will be a solid supporter for your team, work efficiently with others, provide meaningful insight, and consider customers’ needs. Additionally, I am able to work at a fast-paced environment with constant tenacity, integrity, and curiosity.
