My job entails, giving medication, IV infusions, encouraging and reassuring parents, assist and encourage breastfeeding, overall care of the neonate, escalating issues if any concerns using SBAR communication. My job involves working in a team, providing advice and support to parents and their families, discharge, and admission planning all around family centred care.
