Took lead in setting up Scanning Electron Microscopy Laboratory and the Differential Scanning Calorimeter and allied laboratory from the grants received of INR 10 Million (USD 0.2 Million) and INR 1 Million (USD 0.02 Million). Eco-friendly high performance drilling fluid formulations. Cellulose from sea weeds, extraction and treatment for microbicidal activity. Silica from wheat straw (agricultural waste) as catalyst. Vitrified ceramics from red clays. Morphology and kinetics of gas hydrates. Micro-structural characterization of clay based hybrid materials, nano-cellulose, polymer composites, wear debris analysis, ore analysis, blob analysis and failure analysis using SEM-EDS. Kinetics of solid state reactions, runaway reaction, shelf life of energetic materials, thermal stability of composites, lability of inorganic complexes using DSC. Condition monitoring from lube oil analysis and RULL program using FTIR.
