The Battalion, College Station, Texas August 2018–November 2019 Sportswriter, Assistant Sports Editor and Podcast Host

• Awarded third place for Best Sports Section by Pinnacle College Media Awards.

• Developed an elite knowledge of AP Style.

• Covered Texas A&M football, men’s and women’s basketball and baseball as staff writer, writing more than 100 hard news and profile articles for the sports desk.

• Assisted in leading the sports desk, delegated assignments to staff writers, edited and developed the weekly newspaper while following strict deadlines.

• Worked closely with the Texas A&M athletic communications department for player and staff interviews, media passes and gamedays.

The O’Colly Media Group, Stillwater, Oklahoma August 2016–December 2016 Podcast Host

• Created the Out of Bounds podcast with roommate and fellow Sports Media major, Skylar Wolfe, and Sports Media major, Aaron Brewer.

• Hosted the podcast with special guest interviews, debating college football, basketball and ethical dilemmas surrounding collegiate athletics.

• Out of Bounds became the most popular podcast on campus, accumulating more than 1,000 listens through the Soundcloud platform.
