After GA acquired Life and Annuity Insurance from Athene the platform conversion

created a lot of data issues and stalled the business of the newly acquired insurance

part. The conversion project analyses and creates a singularity of data view and acts as

a gatekeeper of the business data and process.

●Data Gathering - Create and maintain SAS processes to get daily data from various source systems for customer / transaction / billing / claims / call center data. Use SAS PROC, SAS/ACCESS and other methods to read files/databases.

●Integration and Reporting- Integrate customer, claims, transaction and Call Center data from various source systems using Informatica Cloud System and create data marts on sybase for trending, TPA analysis, and maintain daily datasets in SAS for gatekeeping and controlling the day to to day activities (such as billing / annual statements). Extensive use of SAS data and proc steps to create intermediate ODS datasets.

●Update Data Mart - Load customer and transactional data in Sybase data marts using IICS and generate high level reports on tableau. Profile data using IDQ.

●Fail Safe Mechanism - Build a fail safe mechanism to address the gaps in the new system and simulate the BAU process to handle the errors.

●Performed in the capacity of a Lead Data Analyst and worked as a liaison between the Vendors and the technical delivery team.

●Help the business analyst create BRD.

●Translate the business requirements received from the vendors/stakeholders into functional specifications, ETL Designs and Data Mapping documents.

AstraZeneca Canada’s dream project, costing over $ 7 Million to redefine their warehouse data warehouse using Informatica and Oracle. Prior to this, legacy data warehouse were in silos and business didn’t have a consolidated view of the entire data.

●Developed the ETL processes using Informatica to load data from 18+ source systems.

●Create SQL scripts, custom UNIX shell scripts, stored procedures to run the entire warehouse process.

●Analyze various source systems to generate a common record format (CRF) to accommodate all the data elements from every source.
