CFPD (COMMUNICATING FAULT PASS DETECTOR) TECHNICIAN

• Manufacturing of non contact type communicating fault pass detector

• A set of sensor that consist of a current sensor and voltage sensor

• The sensor measures current flowing through the HT line on the basis of Electro magnetic induction

• The CFPD unit will send a fault message if the fault current passes through the HT line where the unit is installed

• If the feeder is tripped and the HT line where CFPD is installed is healthy then unit will send a switched off message

• Once the sensor is installed it continuously measures the current flowing through the HT line

• Any current above 200A is detected as a abnormal condition

• If the line current exceeded 200A for some time and then goes below 200A and feeder did not trip a surge message is sent by the unit

• Each CFPD unit has a unique ID
